How it works
From URL to fix list in four steps.
Steps: discovery, scanning, checkout, prioritisation and monitoring
Discovery
We browse your site the way a visitor would. We group internal links into templates by URL pattern (product, category, blog post, for example) and pick up to 3 representative pages from each template. A quick scan covers your home page and two templates; an advanced scan covers up to 20 pages.
Scanning
We open each page in a real browser and run the axe-core rules. A quick scan runs at desktop width (1280 px) and takes about 60 seconds. An advanced scan runs separately at desktop and mobile (390 px) widths; the full report is usually ready within 1 hour, and we email you when it's done.
Checkout
On e-commerce sites, we open the cart and checkout pages with an empty cart. We don't add products, submit forms, log in or place orders. Most platforms don't show the checkout form with an empty cart, so the address and card steps are on the manual checklist. If your site isn't a shop, we skip this step.
Prioritisation
Score = impact (critical / serious / moderate / minor) × number of pages where it repeats × whether it's in the purchase flow (×1.5 on cart and checkout templates).

Monitoring
A weekly re-scan. An instant check when you say "Fixed it". Regression alerts: on our roadmap, not available yet.
Honest limits
What can't we find?
We can tell whether an image has alt text. We can't tell whether that alt text is right. Whether the focus order makes sense, whether an error message is clear: these need a human eye.
According to a March 2021 study by Deque (more than 2,000 audits, more than 13,000 pages), automated tests find ~57% of issues by volume [Deque]. For the rest, we give you a checklist.
